On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 11:30 am a delegation from Duhok Private Technical Institute headed by the Dean of the institute Mr. Arass Ragab visited the University of Zakho, and was warmly welcomed by the President of the University of Zakho, Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgeen A. Jameel, the Director of International Relations Office, the Director of the Statistics and ICT Center, and the Director of Career Development Center.

It is worth mentioning that the both sides held a meeting and talked about the current situation of Middle East, particularly Kurdistan Region. Likewise, the aim of this visit was to sign a memorandum of understanding between both sides.
At the end of this meeting, Dr. Lazgeen A. Jameel delivered a speech on the process of how to implement this agreement and the importance it has to the university and the education process.
